海鮮すし 「海花亭」
Kaikatei has been here since Nakaminato Osakana Ichiba first opened, taking its present form after several renovations. Because we want you to savor Nakaminato, we hold buying rights at the Nakaminato Fishery Co-op and Mito Public Market and bring in fresh, seasonal ingredients every day — chosen producer by producer, from Hokkaido to Kyushu. We welcome you with our four pillars: nigiri sushi, seafood bowls, specialty dishes, and oysters. Irasshaimase!

海鮮処 海門
We took our name, Kaimon, from the “Kaimon Bridge” linking Nakaminato and Oarai. Just one month after opening, we were hit by the 3.11 earthquake. Fifteen years on, our artisan tempura and tuna steak are the dishes we are proudest of. With buying rights at Mito Public Market and the Nakaminato Fishery Co-op, our discerning staff bring in the season's seafood again today.
Hours Weekdays 9:30–15:30 Sat/Sun/Hol 8:15–16:00
Closed Thu & Fri (open on holidays)

喜 〜よろこび MINATO bistro〜
We add a twist to the classic seafood bowl, taking care over both the mix of ingredients and the presentation. Tuna, salmon, salmon roe and more — each flavor is drawn out so you can enjoy the bowl to the last bite. A hearty, satisfying serving, too. We also recommend our set meals, in which Maruki Suisan's dried fish is grilled plump and tender by our own method.

カクダイ水産(株)お魚市場店
We are the direct shop of a dried-fish factory, and our mirin-dried fish — marinated in our signature sauce and dried — is especially well regarded. As a designated handler of Ibaraki local fish, we also carry a wide range of local dried fish (anglerfish, squid, octopus, dried whitebait, catfish and more). We handle fresh local fish as well; to keep it at its best, fresh fish is sold by order. For fresh-fish inquiries (flounder, red sea bream, etc.), call Sakurai at 090-3319-1259.
