  1. 1 When are you closed?

    Each shop has its own closed days, but the market is never fully closed. Please check the Shops page for the details of each shop.

    Weekends and public holidays: all shops open.

    Year-end: all shops open from December 28 to 31. Seafood shops open from around 5 a.m. as they prepare for the day. Some restaurants open from 6 a.m.

    New Year: some shops open on January 1. From January 2 onward, all shops are open.

    Golden Week: all shops open.

    Obon holiday: all shops open.

  2. 2 Is there parking?

    Yes. There is a prefectural parking lot with about 600 spaces (paid, up to 4 hours).

    Standard car 100 yen / medium vehicle 210 yen / large vehicle 340 yen.

    On weekends, public holidays, and at year-end, temporary parking lots are set up nearby, with guards to direct you.

  3. 3 Is there parking for large vehicles?

    Yes. 340 yen (4 hours). Please note that reservations are not accepted.

    If you have booked a meal, the restaurant may have its own parking, so please check with them as well.

  4. 4 What about lost items?

    There is no central lost-and-found office.

    Please contact the shop nearest to where you lost the item, or the parking lot, directly.

  5. 5 What seafood shops are there?

    The seafood shops can also ship products for you.

  6. 6 What about nationwide shipping?

    Nationwide shipping is available from all seafood shops.

    Deliveries use Yamato Transport, with options such as prepaid shipping and cash on delivery.

    We serve local and domestic oysters almost year-round. Prices vary by size and other factors.

    Shokujidokoro Sandaime Uoichi has seats where pets are welcome.

    For hygiene reasons, please keep your pet in a carrier or on a leash.

    At Yorokobi MINATO bistro, pets are allowed only on the terrace seats.
